Your favourite new show (aired this TV season).
This is very difficult, as I haven't started watching a new show that was aired this season.
So I'll twist it a little and go with Doctor Who, as we have a new Doctor; thus it's the favourite show my default.
I have to say the jury is still out on Eleven. Matt Smith is no David Tennant (who is my favourite Doctor). But even this far into the series I'm not that sure about him.
I like that he's a little more alien then Nine or Ten. I love his bowties and the fact he thinks they are cool. A lot of Ducky fans have been saying that for ages, but I know some think they are fuddy-duddy, but now we have this young Doctors saying they are cool; well they are. And I do like the fact they didn't try to 'out DT, DT' and MS isn't as frenetic, but he's so young *g*
However, I don't like the fact that I feel they've 'dumbed down' the series, at least in the early episodes. The last few have been better, but for me there is something lacking. I'm not that sure how I feel about Amy, one minute I like her the next I'm not so sure. But in truth they seem like two children playing house.
Having said that I do still enjoy it, but it doesn't have the same 'mustn't miss' and intensity and enjoyment that Ten gave me, nor indeed Nine. It's still a record and watch each week, but the fact that J and I don't talk about the episodes says a lot.
Hopefully thought the improvement will continue. I'm never going to love MS in the way I loved DT, that's for sure, but it's still good entertainment.
