However, when I got the results, using the link that appeared on the various journals, I was a tad surprised at one person's results in particular (waves to aingeal8c) as a couple of weeks ago I'd done it using scrapdog's tool, which I have on my computer and Aingeal's figures were considerably higher.
So I ran the whole thing again and as you can see, I get two considerably different results using the two different tools - curious? You bet.
The first set of results have been generated by LJ Comment Stats.
The second set of results have been generated by scrapdog's LJ Comment Stats Wizard 1.6
The links, I'm afraid, will take you to another post as the stats were too large to post in one post.
Has anyone any ideas as to why these two tools differ so? (It's probably something terribly simple and boring, but I can't, at the moment, figure it out).
ETA: 4:00 p.m. Thanks to the sharp eyes of curly_the_sue, I can definitely confirm that there is something 'hinky' in the first set of stats.
curly_the_sue doesn't even appear in the first set, whereas she most certainly has commented on my LJ.
