Gibbs/Ducky: Hat

30 Days of Fandom Meme Day 06

6 – When you write, do you prefer writing male or female characters?

This is an interesting question because it isn't something I had really thought about - at least not consciously. Maybe it is because I started writing (both in my head and on paper) slash which is two men and so I carried on from there. It was quite some time after I began writing, before I wrote my het story and even longer before I wrote my first femslash story. In fact femslash was something I never envisaged myself writing.

Thus, the vast majority of my stories primarily involve men as I have written more slash stories than anything else - I've written more slash stories than het, femslash and gen put together. Even in my gen stories male character feature more than female.

I'm not sure it is a case of preferring per se to write about male characters because male characters feature heavily in the fandoms I write in.
