Winter: Snow Globe

Music Meme

Taken from katyabaturinsky

Go to Music. Type the year you graduated from high school (or in the case of Brits finished Upper School), and copy the list of the top 100 songs from the year.

Then you are to strike through the songs you loathe, leave alone the songs you can tolerate, and bold the ones you like.

Hmm, what do you do if you don't even know them? As there are several, I've decided to add a condition. The ones in the italics are the ones I do not know (basically most of them!)

Posting Fanfic to LJ

I've been pondering how people post fiction to their LJs, and whether where/how they post it has any bearing on whether the story is read or not. So herewith a little poll on the subject.

For the purposes of this poll please assume the following:

  • The story is in a fandom you know/love/read regularly

  • The writer writes coherently and with few if any technical errors

Poll #556760 Posting Fanfic

Question: If someone on your flist or on a LJ your read regularly/semi-regularly posts a link to one of their stories - be it to a LJ Community or website - rather than posting the story to their website, is this likely to influence whether you read the story or not?

No - I read everything in this pairing/fandom
