Teddy: Stethoscope

List time - David McCallum

I said that I liked lists and so I decided to list my five favourite David McCallum roles:

  1. Illya Kuryakin - The Man From U.N.C.L.E

  2. Steel - Sapphire and Steel

  3. Dr. Donald Mallard (Ducky) - NCIS

  4. Lieutenant Commander Eric Ashley-Pitt (Dispersal) - The Great Escape

  5. Flight Lieutenant Simon Carter - Colditz

I had great difficulty coming up with these as there he plays so many superb roles, but these are my top five.

List time - Martin Shaw

And here are my top Martin Shaw roles:

  1. Raymond Doyle - The Professionals

  2. Sir John Deed - Judge John Deed

  3. Chauvelin - The Scarlet Pimpernel

  4. Chief Constable Alan Cade - The Chief

  5. Commander Adam Dalgliesh - Death in Holy Order and The Murder Room (Although I do not like the accent he uses for this role, and actually prefer Roy Marsden's portrayal).

Doing well here with my obsession

I am thoroughly enjoying my television viewing at the moment. I have just obtained the Colditz series on DVD and thus am having a superb time watching DMc, and all the other stars of course - some of whom even I recognise (yes, londonronnie even I recognise them. And what makes it even more enjoyable is that hubby likes it too! In fact it was hubby who, a while ago, mentioned that he wished it would come out on DVD, or back on TV.

In fact thanks to hubby I've been enjoying a lot of DMc, as prior to us both watching Colditz, we worked out way through the Sapphire and Steel DVDs, and again they were his choice of watching! And today he sat down and watched an NCIS episode with me and definitely wants to see more.

So I am one very happy and contented person - as I'm sure fellow DMc fans can appreciate.
