Alphabet Fanfic Meme Redux
Because I'm occasionally masochistic, I decided to take a leaf out of shorts7's book and do the recent alphabet fiction meme in a different way. I decided it would actually be useful for me to have a list of every story I had written in my various fandoms (both zine and on-line). So broken down by fandom, and then by letter within the fandom, here goes.

Duly impressed.

Thank you, ma'am.

Yep... "prolific" doesn't quite cover it ;-)
nakeisha From: nakeisha Date: 11th September 2006 15:07 (UTC) (Link)
It kind of shocked me, but it's mainly G/D, they are more than half! Take them away and it's more normal.

:-)

Wow... just wow! You're a writing machine, woman. *g*
nakeisha From: nakeisha Date: 11th September 2006 15:08 (UTC) (Link)
:-)

It is spread over six years.

That's a lot of fic ;-)

It's interesting so see what letter use most and for which pairing. I see T is popular.

Very interesting indeed.

nakeisha From: nakeisha Date: 11th September 2006 16:45 (UTC) (Link)
I chose to put 'The' under 'T', I know others might use the first letter of the second word.

I did notice that I have a tendency to use 'Not' as the beginning of the title.

It is a lot of fic. Eeek. Did I really write it all?

Glad you found it interesting - thank you.

That's something I'm not sure about myself...

Oh yes. I wonder why that is...

It is an achievement.

Glad you found it interesting - thank you.

No problem :-)

I don't think there is any hard and fast rule about it, to be honest. I think it's one of these fluid things, some do, some don't. The same with A. But for my stories, I do it this way.

Oh yes. I wonder why that is...

Well now you're asking. I actually have no idea :-)

It is an achievement.

:-) Thank you.

I'm not sure how do it...I'm reminded at this point of rearranging authors on shelves because differnt libraries have differnt little quirks with fiction authors names that are double barreled.

Well now you're asking. I actually have no idea :-)

Hee. I suppose there doesn't have to be a reason. :-)

I well remember different libraries doing slightly different things from the time when I worked in a library. All new staff got pushed out to the branches as part of their training.

I suppose there doesn't have to be a reason

:-) I'm glad you said that.

That's a good thing I'm sure ti ehlps clear up confusion. Or does it?

Nope there does not have to be a reason. :-)

It was good to see how the branches worked, and how different things were from the main central library.

Nope there does not have to be a reason. :-)

Oh, good.

I can imagine. I've noticed the ones I've been at each have their little quirks.

nakeisha From: nakeisha Date: 14th September 2006 15:32 (UTC) (Link)
And the librarian in charge at each one ... They all have their quirks too. Especially those who have been there for their whole career.

It must be a record, fantastic! Very, very well done, sweetheart.

I'll email you later this week (probably after Wednesday), there are a lot of problems here - inlaws mainly - which needs all my attention right now!
nakeisha From: nakeisha Date: 12th September 2006 11:09 (UTC) (Link)
I would think there are folk who have written far more than this. I have to say, I was surprised though when I added them up.

Thank you for your 'well done'.

Sorry to hear about the problems, sweetheart. Am sending *hugs* and good vibes your way.

No rush re: email, I shall look forward to hearing from you as and when you are able.

*Hugs*

Wow! To say I'm impressed would be a major understatement. *g

Almost everything I've ever written is posted to my LJ and linked via my memories either by fandom or alphabetically. The only thing I don't have posted are my four novels. Haven't quite figured out how to post them considering the size. It would have to be multiple posts, but I'm not exactly sure where to break each one down.
nakeisha From: nakeisha Date: 12th September 2006 11:14 (UTC) (Link)
Thank you very much.

I have to confess that I was more than a tad surprised by the over all amount - but it's over six years (I keep telling myself).

One logical way for your novels, should you wish to post them, would be to break them by chapters - assuming that your chapters aren't so long that they'd go over the post limit.

The other logical option, I guess, would be to put the story up on your website if you have one, again broken by chapters or one long page, and post the link to your LJ.

It's getting more and more impressive, my dear. You've written so much and to come up with a suitable title everytime is very difficult, I know!

Well done!
nakeisha From: nakeisha Date: 4th March 2007 18:14 (UTC) (Link)
*Blush*

Thank you, my dear.

I'm so happy in my writing these days and really enjoying myself - as I know you are. Oh, yes, titles can be a real problem at times.
