Last night I was putting the New Tricks DVD into the player, as we'd decided it was time we rewatched it, and I was singing the theme song to myself. (I use the word 'singing' loosely, as despite having parents who can both sing extremely well - Mother did it semi-professionally for a while - I cannot sing; not that it stops me *g*).
This is what I found myself singing:
It's all right, it's okay. It doesn't really matter if you're old and GAY.
Now given that I do not slash any of this team, I merely enjoy the team and show as a whole, I wondered if it was telling me that I am writing and reading too much slash? Not, I hasten to add that it's going to stop me.
For those of you who don't know the show or the song in question, the words are actually:
It's all right, it's okay. It doesn't really matter if you're old and GREY.
