Book Cover Meme Day 01

The lovely caffyolay tagged me on Twitter to do this. However, I decided (with Caffy's permission) to bring it to LJ instead as I thought it might be fun, given at the moment books feature quite prominently in the posts of quite a few of us.

The 'Rules'
caffyolay nominated me to post covers of seven books I love - one cover a day for a week. There is to be no explanations or reviews, just covers. Each time I post I will ask something else to take up the challenge. Obviously it goes without saying that if I tag you and you don't want to it, you don't have to do it. Please do not feel obligated to join in.

Today I nominate: birggitt

Day 01
