French Open - Day 11

Well, my predictions for yesterday were (sadly in one case) correct - Andy and Novak did both win.

Even though I had expected Novak to beat Rafa I was surprised it was in straight sets. However, to be fair as Rafa himself said on the day Novak was the better player and he was; he really was. He deserved to win and definitely will win the entire thing.

Andy and David's match wasn't as exciting as I thought it would be, but I enjoyed it and wasn't at all surprised when David pulled the third set back and boy did Andy up his intensity in the fourth; he clearly did not want it to go to a fifth!

So today we have the women's semi finals: Ana Ivanovic vs. Lucie Safarova and Serena Williams vs. Timea Bacsinszky.

My predictions: Ana and Serena. I really hope Ana wins as she is the only woman left in whom I have any real interest.
