You Are an Anglophile

You are down to earth, no nonsense, and never one to turn down a properly made cup of tea.
Whether you're geeking out to Downton Abbey and Doctor Who or reading up on your Sherlock Holmes, you love British culture.

Your interests may be a bit stodgy and old fashioned, but you can be cheeky. You have a wickedly dry sense of humor.
Tradition is all fine and good, but sometimes you're ready to go a little crazy. You're a little punk rock sometimes!

Yes, I think this is pretty accurate for the most part at least.

Current Mood: amused amused

Surprisingly, I am a Francophile....

One wonders why :-)

Got the same result but the questions are silly. You may like wine and tea (it's my case); Victor Hugo is very far from having Shakespeare's depth and genius, no possible comparison; most French people are quite amused by the British Royal family and certainly don't want them toppled down; kissing people outside your close relatives is a new fashion (which, personally, I hate)...and so on

Yeah, they were a bit daft but then the questions on a lot of these things can be.

As for not comparing Victor Hugo to Shakespeare I am sure there are a lot of people who prefer Hugo - it's nothing to do with comparison to my mind.

It was all about stereotypical views, how we perceive different cultures.

Well, I turned out to be an Anglophile and while that's no surprise, here's an odd thing. Hours later -- on a different computer -- I accidentally clicked submit without selecting any answers . . . and lo and behold I got Anglophile again. This is very interesting.

Now that is interesting!

I just had a little play and could 'fix' it either way with one selection. And like you got Anglophile by clicking nothing.
