Well to be perfectly honest I wouldn't know what a 90s special effect was compared to an 80s or 00s or any other decade *g* A special effect is a special effect is a special effect - well it is to me.

So without knowing if this particular special effect is 90s or not I'm going with how the vamps turned to dust once they'd be staked.
