"Yes!" Tim cried. "I did it! Level eighty-five!" He sat back in his chair, stretched his fingers and rolled his shoulders. "Ow," he said. "I've been sitting for too long in the same position." His shoulders were really stiff and he started to rub them.

"I'll do that." The next second Tim felt Jimmy's hands on his shoulders, massaging the knots and tension away.

"Mmmmmm," Tim managed, leaning back and looking up at Jimmy. "You're good at that." Jimmy smiled and paused from massaging Tim's shoulders long enough to bend over and kiss him. "If you ever get tired of cutting into dead bodies, you could become a masseur." He sat back up.

Jimmy leaned down and put his lips to Tim's ear. "Would you like me to massage other men?" he asked his tone silky. "Or women."

"No!" Tim said without even thinking and they both laughed. "Okay, so I think you should stick to the dead bodies."

Jimmy kissed Tim's ear before standing back up straight and continuing to work on Tim's shoulders. "Well done, by the way," he said, "on getting to level eight-five."

"Thanks," Tim said. "Hey, you were listening to me?"

"Of course I was. I watched you for a bit too."

"You don't mind me playing, do you, Jimmy? You don't think it takes up too much of what should be our time?"

"No, I don't. I like that you feel comfortable enough with me that you feel you can do the things you used to do. And I'm happy reading, you know that."

Tim did. He thought he enjoyed reading, but when Jimmy and he had set up home together he'd been more than a little surprised by the amount of books Jimmy had, as well as the eclectic array of subjects. "Well, just as long as you don't mind. You will tell me, won't you, Jimmy, if you do think I'm playing too much?"

"Yes, Tim, I will if you tell me I'm reading too much."

"Deal."

"Good. There. How do your shoulders feel now?" Jimmy took his hands off Tim's shoulders and Tim tentatively moved them.

"Great, Jimmy. Really good. They don't feel stiff at all. Thank you."

"It's my pleasure."

Tim reached for his mug of coffee and took a swallow. "Urgh," he wiped his mouth with the back of his hand and put the mug back down.

"You let it go cold again, didn't you?" Jimmy said, perching on the edge of Tim's desk.

Tim looked at him and gave a rueful grin. "I did. I'm sorry, Jimmy, and you made it for me."

Jimmy shrugged. "It doesn't matter. Shall I make another one?"

Tim glanced at the clock. "Better not. It's getting late. I don't want to be awake all night; at least not unless it's by choice." He grinned at Jimmy.

THE NEXT DAY

"McGee, MTAC with me." Gibbs stood up and headed for the stairs, Tim hurrying behind him.

AN HOUR LATER

"Agent Gibbs, Dr. Mallard asked me to bring this report up for you." Jimmy hurried over to Gibbs's desk, smiling at Tim as he went by his desk and handed the report over. He saw Tim reach for his coffee and pull a face; yet another cup that had gone cold.

"Thanks, Palmer." Gibbs took the report, held it at arm's length and squinted at it.  "That's fine. Tell Ducky thanks and I'll be down later."

"Yes, Agent Gibbs," Jimmy said, smiling at Tim again as he left the squad room and went back to Autopsy.

~~~~~~~
"Agent Gibbs said thank you, Doctor, and said to tell you he'll be down later."
Dr. Mallard smiled at him. "Thank you, Jimmy," he said. "It was kind of you to take it up to the squad room for me."
"It's not a problem, Doctor." Jimmy smiled and went to wipe down the table they'd used for the most recent autopsy.
When he'd finished swabbing and thoroughly cleaning it, he looked at Dr. Mallard. "Doctor?"
"Yes, Jimmy."
"Would it be okay if I used the computer for a few minutes?"
"Of course it would be, Jimmy."
"It's not work related," Jimmy said honestly.
Ducky smiled. "I won't tell if you don't. Really, Jimmy, you've been putting in plenty of extra hours these last few weeks, I do not believe NCIS will begrudge you a few minutes personal surfing time."
"Thank you, Doctor." Jimmy sat down at the computer, thought for a moment and typed something into Google. Five minutes later he found just what he wanted and was happy to see it was available on Amazon. So he bought it.
THREE DAYS LATER
Jimmy unpacked the box, took Tim's gift out and looked at it. He just hoped it worked, but even if it didn't he knew Tim would appreciate the thought. He put it back into the box and put it in front of Tim's keyboard; never for one second did he consider plugging it in, not even to test it. It was Tim's computer and Jimmy had a great respect of personal property and Tim was the same. Just because they shared a home, it didn't mean they didn't have their own things. It was only respectful and polite to ask before borrowing or using something that belonged to the other person. Besides, Tim's computer was super-scary and Jimmy wasn't even sure he'd find the USB hub!
"Hey, Jimmy, I'm home," Tim called a few minutes later as he closed the door behind him. "Do you feel like a take-out tonight?"
Jimmy met Tim in the doorway of the living room. "That'd be lovely, Tim," he said, putting his arms around Tim and kissing him. "I've got something for you." He took Tim's hand and tugged him across to where Tim's computer sat. "There," he said, pointing to the box.
Tim picked it up and looked at it. "A USB mug coffee warmer. Hey, Jimmy, what a good idea, it looks great," he said. "Thank you." He kissed Jimmy.
Jimmy beamed and his cheeks felt become a little warm. "I don't know if it'll work. But I thought it was worth a try."
Tim smiled. "Come here," he said, pulling Jimmy into his arms. "Has anyone ever told you thoughtful you are, Jimmy?"
Jimmy felt his cheeks grow even warmer and he slipped his arms around Tim and kissed him.
