III. GENERAL QUESTIONS ABOUT THE STORIES
Stories already written but not yet posted: 00
WIPs: Too many!
Looking back, did you write more fic than you thought you would this year, less, or about what you'd predicted?
Far, far, far, far, far, far, far, far less. It has been a disastrous year for me writing-wise
What pairing/genre/fandom did you write that you would never have predicted in January 2011?
DiNozzo/EJ - well I couldn't have predicted it as EJ didn't arrive until 2011 *g*
Did you take any writing risks this year? (See above for unexpected pairings, etc.) What did you learn from them?
Not really, no.
Do you have any fanfic or profic goals for the New Year?
Generally just to write more. I did take the plunge and signed up at

IV. STORY SPECIFIC QUESTIONS
My favourite story this year. Not the most popular, but the one that makes you happiest:
All Settled (Gibbs/Ducky, Abby/McGee, Jimmy/Breena, DiNozzo/Ziva). It's Jimmy and Breena's wedding day. But they aren't the only happy couple. It's pure sap and fluff.
My best story this year:
Like Somalia (DiNozzo/Ziva. DiNozzo/EJ are also mentioned). Short and very angsty.
Story most under appreciated by the universe, in my opinion:
Time Something Changed The story itself is Gibbs & Vance gen as far as it goes with just a wee mention of Gibbs/Ducky.
Most disappointing:
None. I can in all honesty say that there wasn't a single story in which I was disappointed (I wouldn't have posted it had I been thus).
Most sexy story:
I tend not to write sexy stories and this year I wrote even less sex than usual. However, I will go with:
The Female Factor (DiNozzo/McGee). It's not really that sexy, but the entire story takes place in bed.
Story with single sexiest moment:
None.
Story with single sweetest moment:
This is normally hard as a lot of my stories have sweet moments. But this year I wrote a lot more angst than I normally wrote.
Big Enough For Two (DiNozzo/Ziva). Ziva knows what happiness is.
Most Unintentionally Telling:
I honestly cannot think of any story that would fit this 'category'. If my stories have a message at all, it tends to be an intentional one, one that I have thought about.
Story that shifted my own perceptions of the characters:
This is really another of those when I don't really have an answer, as really I can't say any of my stories do that to a great extent. However, I have chosen . . .
Get Over It. (Gibbs/Ducky) It's a story where DiNozzo tells Gibbs some home truths. I never thought DiNozzo would speak to Gibbs like this.
Biggest Surprise:
Keep Walking (Napoleon/Illya). It's a sequel to Ceaseless. It's a sequel I never expected to write.
Hardest story to write:
Well as conceited as this will sound I tend not to find stories hard to write, not really. I have times when the words won't flow or the story seems to be going nowhere, but generally that is fleeting and I'll stop what I'm writing and start/continue something else and when I then return to the story all is well. However . . .
Sometimes Love Is Not Enough (Gibbs/Ducky). It is not a happy story.
Easiest story to write:
Again, this is another one that I find difficult to really answer as (again trying not to sound conceited) I don't find writing most stories difficult.
Don't Leave It Too Late The story itself is pre-pre-pre-slash Gibbs/Ducky set after Ducky's death. It's a conversation mainly between Gibbs & Jimmy. Given the subject matter it shouldn't have been that easy, but it was.
